Why would you force yourself to do something you don't enjoy that provides you with no benefit? Games are meant to be fun, and enjoyable. If your don't having fun then I would suggest playing a new game.

I've got so many games I want to play, but not enough time.

FPS
-Gears of war
-Bioshock
-Halo 3
-Call of duty modern warfare
-Crysis

RPG
-God of war
-Oblivion
-The witcher

MMORPG
-Age of conan
-Warhammer will be out soon....

RTS
-Supreme Commander

Well just made my own guild outta boredom. Probably going to work on getting r12 kurzick, through ab.

When gw does get boring, I just sit around and talk to friends :P

I plan to:

- Beat EotN with my Mesmer and Necromancer.
- Get at least one Cartographer title on my Warrior, Ranger and Elementalist.
- Get Sunspear & Lightbringer Maxed Titles on all five of my characters.
- Have at least one Destroyer weapon in each of my character's Hall of Monuments.

Until everything gets done, I have yet to find a reason to be bored.

Besides, a good majority of people who finds Guild Wars boring have yet to achieve getting Legendary Skill Hunter on five characters without using a single tome. These people are only bored because they have no patience to actually push their limits.

If it's getting boring, go play World of Warcraft. It isn't for the current generation of players, and hence, GW isn't dieing. >_>;

i mostly play Europa barbarorum (one of the best rome totalw war mod out there) When i am bored with guild wars (still play 1-2 hours per days)

I just set some goals for myself (usually non-elite but favourable, or elite armour sets). I also PUG instead of doing the usual H/H routine. If I get bored, I just go off and play Oblivion, or some PS2 games.

Or you know, go out to parties/see friends/go shopping.

Or we are bored because there is not much content in the game. Same as when a game is pretty short, but it has so god damn high difficulty that you have to repeat missions over and over. That's not content. It's artificial extending the duration of game play.

I had same problem after playing my warrior too much, at 23 titles having done everything in HM was getting fairly bored so decided to make a paragon, and am having a blast again

Plan on leveling my rit as well soon and getting him through prophecies with a m8.
Besides that my guild is great fun, have a blast trying to break record times in elite missions and just generally fooling around. Only reason I'm really playing still is guild and some good ingame friends who it's always hilarious with to do a mission while on vent (singing, laughing, trying to play decent while half drunk

)

And being on internship now I can't play during the week any more so the breaks make coming back to play for a few hours all the more satisfying, no internet or tv in student room for the win, really, you should try it, gives you all sorts of brilliant things to do

I set my own goals and limitations. For example: I have to make it to at least r1 of Survivor, or that character gets deleted (not that hard, but still, deaths do happen - damn lag!); only use Runes & Inscriptions that I find, no buying them. Things like that. I have 8 characters (out of 8 slots), and am going back and deleting old ones to start out with the new "rules". Titles? Meh - the only one that keeps my interest is Legendary Survivor right now, because it makes me have to play the game actively. (No hFFF; no EotN punchout extravaganza to get LS easily. Have to do it the "hard" way by playing the game out - doing quests, capping elites.)

I was too till MTW2 came out and kinda dissappointed me into quitting TW all together.
